Through collaborations with Academia and Industry, Reactive Surfaces has developed and implemented a model for the fusion of biological functionality with coating technology to create some of the most unique surface coatings yet identified. By tailoring enzymes and biological molecules for specific purposes, Reactive Surfaces Ltd. has developed coating additives bioengineered to exhibit increased activity and/or specificity for decontamination and remediation of Chemical and Biological Warfare (CBW) agents. RSL is expanding its enzyme- and peptide-based additives for paints and coatings into areas that will allow for self-cleaning surfaces, mold-inhibiting surfaces, deodorizing surfaces, textiles with reactive coatings, and catalytic column coatings for liquid and gaseous waste stream decontamination.
