Reactive Surfaces was founded in 2001 by Dr.
Steve McDaniel as a result of his initiative to combat and protect
against terrorism in the face of the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Dr.
McDaniel's experience with enzymatics began when obtaining his
Master's Degree in Genetics and continued through his obtaining a
Doctorate in Biochemistry all while at Texas A&M University. RSL projects originate with the
innovative minds of company staff, as a result of strategic
partnerships, as well as in contracts for Commercial R&D and
